چکیده
We deene and implement a (max,+) algebra of signals for the timing analysis of discrete event systems expressed as timed event graphs. A system is deened by the innnite, periodic time sequences of its events. Each sequence has a nite representations called a signal. The resulting tool can also compute supre-mal controllers for timed discrete event systems.

A Max - Plus Algebra of Signals for the SupervisoryControl of Real - Time Discrete Event Systems
In this paper, we deene a max-plus algebra of signals for the evaluation of timing behavior of discrete event systems modeled by timed event graphs. We restrict ourselves to innnite, periodic sequences for which we can compute nite representations called signals. This framework allows us to implement a max-plus algebra for computing supremal controllers for real-time, discrete event systems.
متن کاملUsing Interval Petri Nets and Timed Automata for Diagnosis of Discrete Event Systems (DES)
A discrete event system (DES) is a dynamic system that evolves in accordance with the abrupt occurrence, at possibly unknown irregular intervals, of physical events. Because of the special nature of these systems, different tools are currently used for their analysis, design and modeling. The main focus of this paper is the presentation of a new modeling approach of Discrete Event Systems. The ...
متن کاملNetworked conflicting timed event graphs representation in (Max, +) algebra
Timed Event Graphs (TEGs) are a specific class of Petri nets that have been thoroughly studied given their useful linear state representation in (Max,+) algebra. Unfortunately, TEGs are generally not suitable for modeling systems displaying resources sharing (or conflicts). In this paper, we show that if a system with conflicts is modeled using a NCTEG (Networked Conflicting Timed Event Graphs)...
متن کاملThe Stability Problem for Discrete Event Dynamical Systems Modeled with timed Petri Nets Using a Lyapunov-Max-Plus Algebra Approach
A discrete event system, is a dynamical system whose state evolves in time by the occurrence of events at possibly irregular time intervals. Place-transitions Petri nets (commonly called Petri nets) are a graphical and mathematical modeling tool applicable to discrete event systems in order to represent its states evolution. Timed Petri nets are an extension of Petri nets that model discrete ev...
متن کاملPerformance Evaluation of Switched Discrete Event Systems
Based on max-plus algebra, a class of discrete event processes can be described by linear recursive equations[1]. Such a system exhibits asymptotic periodic behavior, and its performance can be evaluated by calculating the eigenvalue of the system matrix in max-plus algebra. On the other hand, control techniques based on switching among different controllers have been explored extensively in re...
